Meet Midwife Danielle
Licensed Midwife/Certified Professional Midwife
I was born and raised in DFW. My family and friends mean the world to me. Having a sense of community is so important. My favorite people in the world call me Aunt Dani! In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, practicing hot yoga, working out, going to church, and sewing. My faith has definitely helped shape me as a midwife. Hallowed means regarded as holy or sacred. To me birth is a very sacred experience that should be treated as such.
Before stepping into the role of a midwife, I spent nearly three years as a labor and delivery nurse in a hospital setting. It provided me with a solid foundation and invaluable experience, but I slowly came to realize that my values did not align with the hospital culture. When I moved to San Diego in 2018 I decided to leave the hospital and pursue my dream of becoming a midwife. During my training I truly fell in love with home birth. Witnessing a baby enter this world in the very place they will grow up is an incredibly special and sacred experience that deeply touches my heart. During my midwifery training, I made the decision to move back to Texas, wanting to be closer to my family and friends.
After completing my midwifery education I began working at a birth center. The birth center was an amazing experience, but I am thrilled to embark on this next chapter of my career, returning to home births and reconnecting with families. This is where my true passion lies—to provide personalized, compassionate care that honors each family's unique needs and choices. I am genuinely excited to be a part of your journey, guiding you through the miraculous experience of childbirth with unwavering support, respect, and empowerment. I look forward to connecting with you!
Benefits of Midwifery Care?
Personalized Care
Choosing a single, home birth midwife we will get to know each other throughout your pregnancy. We will work together to form a plan of care that suits your family's needs.
Lower Cesarean Rate
Clients who use a midwife have an average Cesarean rate of 10%, while clients who use an OBGYN have an average Cesarean rate of 30%.
Informed Consent
My job as your midwife is to educate you on different topics and options throughout your pregnancy and your job is to decide what is best for your family. Only you can decide what is best for you and your baby.
Alternative Treatments for Common Pregnancy Symptoms
As a midwife I always use natural, holistic remedies before using medical treatments. I have studied and commonly use essential oils, herbs, and homeopathic treatments to support you throughout your pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
Resources and Information
Throughout your pregnancy I will be sharing all the community resources and information I have with you, so you can feel supported and empowered during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care.
Nutrition and Exercise Guidance
Throughout your care we will discuss your nutritional habits and what foods will nourish and support your body during pregnancy and postpartum. We will also go over stretches and exercises to help prepare your pelvis and body for birth.
Prenatal Care
I see you on the same schedule as an OB. Every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, and then every week until baby is born. My office is in Mansfield. All prenatal appointments are at my office, except for one home visit at 36 weeks. If you desire all home prenatal appointments that is an extra charge. Appointments typically last between 45 minutes and an hour and a half. During prenatal appointments we will discuss nutrition, exercise, educational topics, and any questions you may have along the way. These visits are how we will form a relationship and get to know one another better. Trust is the foundation of midwifery care.
Home Birth/Birth Tub Rental
I offer home births. In your own environment you will feel safer and more secure. During labor and birth I will be monitoring you and baby to make sure all is well. I trust the birth process, and I want to empower you to trust your body and baby. After baby is born I will make sure both you and baby have transitioned well into your new roles. I am usually at your house for 2-3 hours after the birth. I also rent out birth tubs to my clients. Birth tub rental includes: a birth tub, a plastic drape for underneath the tub, a liner for the tub, an air pump, a hose, and a sump pump to drain the tub.

Postpartum Care For You and Baby
I take care of you and baby for the first six weeks postpartum. I will do the first postpartum visit at your house on day two. I will see you and baby back in the office for a two week and six week postpartum visit. During the postpartum appointments I will be making sure breastfeeding is going well, checking mom's and baby's vitals, and answering any questions. Becoming a confident, empowered parent starts with an empowered pregnancy and birth experience.
